Support when it matters
If you are in immediate danger
If you may harm yourself or someone else, have taken something dangerous, or are being threatened, contact local emergency services now or go to the nearest emergency department. If you can, ask a trusted person to stay with you and move away from things or situations that could cause harm.
AskJJ cannot reliably assess danger, contact responders for you, or monitor your safety. You deserve help from someone who can support you directly.
If a relationship is unsafe
Threats, coercion, stalking and violence are not something to solve by manifesting differently. Consider contacting a domestic-abuse service from a safe device and reaching out to a trusted person. If confronting someone may increase danger, prioritize a practical safety plan with local support.
If reflection is overwhelming
You can stop. You do not need to sit with painful sensations, recover memories, forgive anyone or keep processing. Look around, notice something neutral, and choose what feels supportive. Seek qualified support if distress is persistent, severe or interfering with daily life.
A healthy role for AskJJ
Use it to explore your experience, not as the sole authority on your relationships or your worth. Bring important decisions to people you trust. Spiritual practices can hold personal meaning; they cannot override another person’s consent or guarantee an outcome.
